Zant was originally founded in 2021 as a telehealth platform focused on expanding access to mental health support for youth across the United States. Its roots trace back years earlier, following the loss of our founder's close friend to suicide at just 19 years old. In navigating her own grief, our founder worked with a therapist willing to support her for $10 per session, an experience that revealed how transformative timely, affordable support could be, and how inaccessible it often was for others.

What began as pain quickly became purpose. Zant was built to help young people access support they otherwise might never receive. Mental health has always been core to our mission.

In 2023, as regulations and licensing laws evolved, it became increasingly complex for a small startup to continue matching therapy clients nationwide while navigating privacy, compliance, and state by state requirements. Rather than abandoning the mission, we pivoted, bringing our values, learnings, and technology into the coaching industry, while continuing to support youth through pro bono initiatives across the country.

As Zant evolved, a broader truth became impossible to ignore, founders, executives, and leaders experience burnout, stress, anxiety, and depression at significantly higher rates than the general population. Studies show that over 70% of founders report struggling with mental health, and nearly 50% experience burnout or depression at some point in their journey. Leadership, while powerful, is isolating, and the cost of unsupported leadership is high.

Our founder's own journey eventually included coaching, and the impact was undeniable. The Zant team lives what we build, working with a dedicated team coach and experiencing firsthand how structured, high quality coaching improves clarity, performance, and decision making.

Meanwhile, coaches using Zant began inviting their clients onto the platform, not because they were required to, but because it was easier to manage everything in one place. We listened closely. What we realized was that we had unintentionally built something bigger, an all in one infrastructure that allowed coaches to run their businesses, clients to access support seamlessly, and leaders to operate with greater focus and confidence.

From there, Zant expanded naturally, adding marketplace visibility, concierge matching, and partnerships with venture capital firms and companies looking to deploy coaching strategically to de risk leadership and execution.

What started as a mission to expand access to care has grown into the infrastructure behind elite leadership, without ever losing sight of why we started.
